The best thing about Christmas Eve 2019 was that there was no skyping! Everyone was in Michigan!
The next best thing was that the girls shopped and prepared amazing food.
Missing from the table are the wings, which were still in the oven:

I found the old punch bowl in the farthest corner of the basement and got out 2 glass cake plates, one on a pedestal.
Brioche buns with chicken salad, pickled veggies, crudités with bleu cheese dip, stuffed mushrooms, 2 charcuterie boards, which included Dutch rye bread and Leiden cheese, dipped pretzel sticks, peppermint bark, shrimp in martini glasses, nuts, grapes and raspberries.
All so good!!
And then I was gifted with chocolate and spirits from the "Bourbon Trail":
